Here’s the deal gal pals, many of you are coming from the background of yo-yo dieting, deprivation and binging on the weekends.
You’re frustrated you can’t lose weight.
But get this >> 99.9% of my female clients will lose weight by doing these things:
+ Eating MORE consistently (stop living in a deficit, it’s hella stressful for females) I’m all for a fat loss phase but it can’t be year round, and many of ya’ll are not in a position to do a fat loss phase because your biofeedback indicates otherwise, meaning you’re not moving enough, sleeping enough, drinking enough water, meaning: you’re not supporting your body in foundational ways. Focus on the foundations first!
+ Eating MORE protein for thermogenic effects
+ STOP snacking so much, this has a bad effect on blood sugar and is a strong indicator you’re not eating enough calories at the previous meal
+ Increase NEAT (non exercise activity thermogenesis) I.E. get off your booty and WALK (I do 2 walks/day) for sun exposure and an increase in daily step count
+Add electrolytes to your water so you’re hydrated instead of peeing all day, which has the opposite effect = dehydration
If you really want to see a shift in your weight, you’ve got to first nourish your metabolism, you’ve got to speak the language of the body which means
💥 Eating enough calories
💥 Lowering stress
💥 Work WITH your biology, not against it (many of y’all are trashing your metabolism & thyroid through deprivation instead of nourishing your body which backfires EVERY SINGLE TIME)
By making simple changes you can lose weight sustainably AND feel like a different person. THAT is magic, my friend.
Don’t look to another yo-yo diet this summer. Instead ask yourself, can I commit to some simple habits that could actually move the needle for my whole health?
