Practical Health Tips & Overcoming Limiting Beliefs with Ashley Taylor – Episode 30

by | May 26, 2022 | Podcast

Today’s episode with my online friend Ashley Taylor is encouraging, practical, and fun. Ashley is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse turned Holistic Health & Life Coach who is passionately helping people go from burnout to balance! You won’t want to miss today’s light-hearted chat!

As a nurse of 6 years, Ashley can say that medical professionals do an amazing job helping patients go from survival to stable in the hospital setting. However, Ashley’s heart is in taking it to the next level and helping people go from stable to thriving.

In today’s episode, we talk about the effects of limiting beliefs and mental blocks on our health goals, how small steps can make a BIG difference, why balance is important, and some practical biohacking tips to take back our health.

Grab your coffee, your headphones, and listen in!

I hope you love today’s chat.

Things to Remember

1) Small action steps can have more impact than big changes. We often think it’s the big life changes that make us who we are but, in health, the small ones win. Steps like drinking water daily, small consistent nutrition choices, daily positive thinking, reducing stress, and more. These are small things that make a BIG impact. Don’t underestimate the power small moves have!

2) Sometimes we do the right things in the wrong order. Ashley encouraged us to shift from making decisions from how our life looks (on the outside) to how it feels (on the inside). We can want to look our best, but we often try to go about this by doing the right things in the wrong order. Start to work on those limiting beliefs and see so much growth come as a result.

3) Ritualized self-care is important. Don’t miss this one! There is a safety that comes with the rhythm of a morning or nighttime routine. This doesn’t mean we have to be rigid, but a loose structure gives our bodies a measure of safety that we all need, signaling security to the body. Isn’t that cool?!

4) You can stay on the grid. Seriously, I loved Ashley’s reminder that we don’t have to live in the woods to be more in-line with how our bodies were created to be. There are so many biohacking tools to help us mitigate many of the effects in our modern world. Some of our favorites are: Oura ring (tracks sleep & steps without EMF’s), blue light blocking glasses, red light therapy, Somavedic (water structuring and EMF harmonizing frequency), and my favorite… sunlight!

The Wellness Wrap-Up

A new rhythm, perspective, or change you’ve made in your life to achieve a life that’s more wholly well.

Ashley says: “Morning sun is a game changer! I used to wake up and watch TV, and this is such a great change. Sunlight is free! Turning off WIFI at night has also been a simple thing that’s made a big difference for me!”
