Enjoy a Cleaner Halloween

Halloween is already spooky, your candy doesn’t need to be. Trick or Treating may look different this year but the treats probably should, too!

Don’t get me wrong, I treat myself and LOVE @hukitchen chocolate but the amount of sugar, food dyes, fake ingredients and toxic ingredients in candy is beyond terrifying 👻 

Here are a few better-for-you treats and sweets! I love to get creative and mix in real food ingredients or opt for already made better candies at @traderjoes @wholefoods and the bulk section at @heb 

Here are a few {cleaner} ideas/swaps:

🎃 HU Dark Chocolates (found at Whole Foods or H-E-B)

👻 Salted Dark Chocolate or Salted Chocolate Caramels from H-E-B Healthy Living Section 🤐

🎃 Trader Joe’s Nut Butter Cups

👻 Chocolate Nut Clusters

🎃 Homemade Caramel Apples rolled in freshly chopped nuts (peep my favorite recipe here: https://saltinmycoffee.com/maple-caramel-apples/)
