Things to Remember
1) Inspiration is not implementation. It’s easy to be inspired, but takes much more intention to put something into implementation mode. As Dr. Jones reminds us in this episode, our mindset and comfort zone are related. We must be intentional with how we are training our thoughts and building our community.
2) Freedom is a mindset. Money in the bank does not automatically equal freedom. In our quest for the life we dream of, we need to ask ourselves: “Who are we becoming?” Are we achieving a lifestyle we dream of? These aspects matter even more than the money we are making.
3) Turn the volume down. Whether you’re building a business or simply your day-to-day life, negative voices that speak into us are so plentiful. Dr Jones encourages us that these belief systems can be overcome. I loved the mindset training we dug into during this segment.
4) If you could, how would you? This is a question I’ll be using in the future too! Questions help create new brain pathways of possibility, and the more they’re fired, the more possibility you can see. Questioning is a powerful part of a start up process.
5) Surround yourself with authentic community. Successful people are careful about what they consume. Their media is podcasts, books, and positive community. It may be powerful to audit the influences you’re allowing to speak into your life.

Dr. Jones shares about time constraints. These are essentially time boundaries on a calendar that help you tell your time where to go. Whether it’s his morning ritual, putting devices away to be with kids, having date night with his wife, etc., solid boundaries play a key part in his high performance and wellness!
