It’s my favorite time of the week again, friends… another Wholly Well Podcast is here! Today we continue our entrepreneur series as Eric Hinman brings us an episode full of inspiration!
Eric Hinman is an influencer marketer, CrossFit athlete, 5x Ironman triathlete, angel investor, and a fitness, tech, and hospitality entrepreneur. His days are based around fitness, creation, outdoor adventure, entrepreneurship, community development, recovery, and self-development, which is why I wanted his voice, experience, and story to grace the Wholly Well podcast.
Today we’re discussing all things human performance, motivation, consistency, and so much more. I can’t wait to hear what inspires you from this episode!

Things to Remember
1) Life is a mix of surviving chapters and thriving chapters. Sometimes we have to finish our surviving chapter before we get to our thriving chapters. Eric shares how many parts of his stories led him to where he is today.
2) A high variety of options spreads you too thin.As an enneagram seven, I felt this in my soul. Eric gives some super helpful tips surrounding discipline and focus. Not overthinking our routines helps us achieve consistency.
3) Use what you have.Such a valuable nugget! While we spoke about this in terms of exercise, this applies to so many avenues of life. What can you do with what you DO have, whether that is equipment, time, techniques, etc. Anything is better than doing nothing.
4) Making money is great, but adding value is even better. For any entrepreneur listening, this is a gold mine. Eric shares how many of his partnerships – both in insurance and today – came from people he personally connected with, could add value to, and was able to help meet their goals. In a world of swipe up and advertising, we cannot underestimate the value of human connection in our businesses.
The Wellness Wrap-Up
A new rhythm, perspective, or change you’ve made in your life to achieve a life that’s more wholly well.
Eric’s answer: cold exposure! He shares that over the last four or five years, it’s the most instrumental thing that he has adopted. The physical, mental, and emotional benefits are incredible, especially for something that doesn’t take a large amount of time. Hear him talk more about this habit earlier on in our episode!
